PHOENIX – January 8, 2019 – Essilor of America announced today the launch of the “Instant $100” promotion, Essilor’s first-ever instant digital rebate, designed to drive second pair purchases with zero hassle and more product choices. Patients can get $100 back instantly on the purchase of the Essilor Ultimate Lens Package and a qualifying second pair. However, in order to ensure eyecare professionals have an offer for every patient, the promotion will leverage the full Essilor product portfolio. Patients can get $50 back when they purchase any Varilux® or EyezenTM+ lens with a Crizal® No-Glare treatment along with a qualifying second pair.

The offer begins February 1st and will be promoted via a national media campaign, including new digital advertising and a television campaign with two commercials to reach both single vision and progressive lens wearers. While the promotion will emphasize Essilor’s Ultimate Lens Package, it will offer eyecare professionals more choices across Essilor’s product portfolio to reach more patients:
The Instant $100 promotion is designed to be simple for consumers to redeem and easy for eyecare professionals to recommend. Any consumer that purchases two pairs of qualifying Essilor lenses can go to www.instant100.com, where they will enter some basic information and submit a photo of their receipt to receive their rebate.
“In 2017 we launched the Ultimate Offer, which established multi-pair behavior among consumers, and now practices can capitalize on that behavior with returning patients. We’ve made Instant $100 more profitable for our customers and opened it up to more lens options for their patients,” adds James.
